X3D standard overseas
ShareX3D has been presented by SCOS partners at Web3D 2008 and SIGGRAPH 2008.
The 13th International Symposium on 3D Web Technology, as known as Web3D 2008 Symposium, has been held in Los Angeles, California, August 9th and 10th. This was a great opportunity for the SCOS project to present an accepted paper entitled "ShareX3D, a scientific 3D viewer over HTTP". The paper has been presented by Sebastien JOURDAIN (Artenum) during paper sessions, day 1, session 2: Applications of X3D.
One of the main known Web3D's sponsor and co-locate was SIGGRAPH 2008. So one more opportunity for us to talk about SCOS... The presentation "X3D - A 3D standard for collaborative scientific visualization" has been held by Christophe MOUTON (EDF), August 13th, during the Web3D Techtalk.
